Drop-in Sports for Youth- Every Tuesday

What: In collaboration with Alison Neighborhood Association, join us for Drop-In Sports for Youth for Grades 7 to 12. 

There is a $2 drop in fee, but if you register with us the fee will be waived. 

Who: Grades 7 to 12

When: Every Tuesday from 6 pm to 8 pm starting from April 16 to June 16. 

Where: Alison Neighborhood Community Centre, 127 Eglin Street North, Cambridge.

Badminton Youth Drop-In- Every Thursday

What: In collaboration with Alison Neighborhood Association, join us for Badminton Youth Drop-In.

Who: Grades 7 to 12

When: Every Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm starting from April 18 to June 27. 

Where: Alison Neighborhood Community Centre, 127 Eglin Street North, Cambridge.

Youth Conflict management- June 7, june 14 & June 21

What: This engaging program offers hands-on activities to help you understand the roots of conflicts and build rational skills to address them. You’ll also explore your identity and values, which play a key role in resolving disagreements. Through interactive sessions, discover effective de-escalation strategies and gain confidence in deploying them in real-life situations. Additionally, you’ll learn practical tactics to handle harmful online discussions, ensuring you’re prepared for the digital world. Sign up today to develop a toolkit for a more harmonious and respectful future.

Who: For youth ages 12 to 18. There are only spots available.

When: This program will run in a span of three days, begging on Friday, June 7, Friday, June 14, and Friday, June 21, 2024.

Where: Clemens Mill Public School, 335 Saginaw Pkwy, Cambridge.

Cost: These is a one time payment of $20.00 for all three sessions.

Women & Youth Potluck Picnic

What: Join us for a delightful Women & Youth Potluck Picnic where laughter, games, and memories await! Picture a sun-kissed afternoon in the park, surrounded by lush greenery and the laughter of friends. From a vibrant blanket spread with delicious treats to exciting games and endless fun. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Get ready for a chance to win prizes in our picnic games. This is also an opportunity for your feedback and to know what types of programs you would want to see in the future from us. So grab your picnic basket and bring your competitive spirit for a day of joy and friendly competition with the Muslim Women Of Cambridge!

Who: Ages 15+. There will be two separate areas for Youth and Women to do their own activities.

When: Saturday, July 13 from 1 PM to 5 PM.

Where: Riverside Park, Kin Picnic Shelter, 49 King Street West, Cambridge.
